The SWAG BAGS Project seeks to help restore dignity to women facing challenging life situations by making the acquisition of personal care products more readily achievable.

THE HARD TRUTH
More than 1.5 million women in Canada are living on a low income.
Most poor women in Canada are working, but can’t earn enough to lift themselves out of poverty because they are clustered in low-paid and precarious jobs. Many of these jobs have recently disappeared due to Covid-19.
Many women sacrifice purchasing basic needs items such as toiletries to make ends meet.
The SWAG BAGS project, started in 2018, is intended to provide women in need with important basic necessities at no cost.
Gently used or new purses will be filled with donations of personal care products including:

Toothpaste, Tooth brush and Floss
